While Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were on their way to the Netherlands for the Invictus Games, they paid an unannounced visit to Englan. Surprisingly enough, the other royal couple, Prince William and Kate Middleton were also vacationing there. They ended up not seeing each other. Nevertheless, the royal couple did have a chance to meet the Queen and their father. The ones who were left unseen were Prince William and Meghan Markle.
The news broke out and spread out like a wildfire throughout the United Kingdom. People from all walks took to social media and expressed that there were some “feuds” going on in the royal palace. “The princes seem unhappy with each other,” wrote one user asking, “what could possibly be the reason, I wonder?” Similarly, the internet world exploded with memes and comics depicting that the royalties have something fishy going on.
The “No Prince Harry and William Meet up” Had a Gentle Cause
Later on, it turned out it had a gentle cause. Prince Harry and Meghan were going to host the Invictus Games in the Netherlands, and their visit to England was a sudden shift. Because they were already on their way to the Netherlands. On the hand, Prince William and Kate Middleton were on a skiing vacation in the French Alps. That is how, they ended up ‘not seeing’ each other.
Hello Magazine reports that Prince William and Kate Middleton were accompanied by their two kids, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. Furthermore, the correspondent reported that they paid a brief visit to the resort of Courchevel. As it was well before the Easter holidays, Williama and Kate arrived back in England to celebrate Easter. Later on, the royal couple was seen going to the local church.
As William and Kate have got back to England, the Sussexes (Prince Harry and Meghan Markle) are still occupied with the Invictus Games in the Netherlands. Nonetheless, it is still unclear if they will pay a visit to their royal counterparts. Since Prince Harry is not a casual royalty who lives on a schedule, perhaps we would never know until it actually happens.
Prince Harry & Kate’s Visit to Windsor was “Olive Branch”
The queen was seemingly unhappy with Harry and Kate as there had been so many things going on in the palace. Ingrid Seward, the serving royal editor, termed Harry’s visit to Windsor “Olive Branch” and shared optimism that the queen will “forgive and forget everything that has been going on.” Commenting on the nature of the queen, Seward suggested that the queen is “not someone who holds grudges on her heart.” He concluded by emphasizing that Thursday is the favorite day of the Queen and she loves to forget and move on this day.” The royal editor was also convinced that she should have forgiven him and an “Olive Branch” has been offered.
