In an unexpected move, Madonna has listed her Hidden Hills house for $26 million. This sale of the exquisite home comes only a year after she purchased it from The Weeknd. The highly praised and eulogized singer remained the owner of The Weeknd’s former for a year and twelve days and tossed it into the market.
Madonna had purchased it from the Weeknd for $19.5 million last year. Reports suggest that the residence has gone through drastic renovations and the touching hands of the Material Girl have taken the abode to yet another level.
It is pertinent to mention here that as lavish as the house is, it is costly. Reports from The Street Wall Journal reveal that the residence was only $19.3 million last April – when The Weeknd owned it. But still, the 12,500 square feet residence yells out its price for every inch of the land.
Peek Inside the $26 Million Worth Contemporary Hosue of Madonna
The property is located on a vast piece of land as it covers some 12,500 square feet. It has 11 bathrooms (9 full and 2 half) and nine full-fledged bedrooms stretched through the balcony. The rooms are painted all-white, and the build-in bookshelves add up to the lavish design.
The French-style doors and windows open up to the backyard and give a wholesome bird-eye-view of the entire property. The windows open up to the sun directly. In the morning, Madonna would sit in her bedroom and bask in the sun for a decent amount of time. “This is one of the wholesome moments. I feel internally relaxed and contend as the rays of sun hug me,” she asserts.
Since all of the rooms are spacious, the bedrooms allow the morning sun to stretch through the entire residence. However, the balcony has also a sitting area – that is lavishly decorated – to sit under the direct light of the sun. The lounge area is wide and has enough space. The lobby is double-height of the blocs and gives a royal entrance to the first floor of the house. Similarly, Madonna’s contemporary house has two kitchens, two dining rooms, and stretched-out lounge areas that add up to the grandeur of the house.
The Street Wall Journal reports that despite the claims, no major renovations have taken place yet. The report argues that the contemporary house went through a drastic renovation in 2017 when it was owned by a Canadian guy called Tesfaye. However, Madonna added some subtle things to the house. Some of them are a gym, a studio for singing and dancing, and 2 pools. Of course, together these are good additions to the Weeknd’s former house.
